I am currently working for the Federal Government in Information Security, which is always challenging on a personal and intellectual level. I have lived in the Washington DC area since graduating and it now feels like home. Serving as Head Class Agent, I look forward to encouraging members of '92 to maintain their strong ties to Mount Holyoke.

After working in the political arena and state government in Connecticut for 13 years, I joined the private sector in 2006 and now work for a life insurance company in Springfield (Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company) in the law division. I specialize in state government affairs which has meant a lot of travel. My primary states of interest are Connecticut, Maryland, Florida, Ohio and Illinois, but I travel all over the country for meetings and conferences. I make a pilgrimage to Mount Holyoke every fall with fellow classmate Nancy Stillman (Poland) to replenish MHC t-shirt/sweats stock; see all the great new stuff going on on campus; and, eat a delicious lunch at Tailgate Picnic. It reminds us of our glory days! I live in Glastonbury, Connecticut with my husband Dean and two dogs Quigley and Bailey.

After several years in the nonprofit world, I went back to school for a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of San Francisco. I'm in my fifth year of teaching, currently in kindergarten, and still love it. I've lived in the Northern California wine country for the past 15 years. Lots of travel, lots of fun, and lots of good MHC memories!

I've been an RN for about 13 years now and a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for 9 years and I still love doing that work and having those initials after my name. These days I am also a doctoral student in the nursing school at the University of Pennsylvania and I work part time in a network of free clinics providing prenatal care to low income women here in Philadelphia. The most exciting things I've done lately (beyond identify a dissertation subject) include a month-long trip to China in December '06 with my partner Jen, and lots of gardening in our backyard here.

I am very happy here in Portland, Oregon with my husband Malcolm (the best stay-at-home-dad in the world!) and son, Jeremiah William who is now a year and a half! The Mt. Holyoke connections remain strong with an active Portland Club and many good friends from the New Orleans Club. We recently celebrated my partnership with Business Valuation Resources, LLC - the leading financial publisher for private company business appraisers. Check us out at www.bvresources.com and hope to see you out in the beautiful Northwest!

I am happy to be serving the Class of '92 for a second term. Managing the class website and e-blasts, getting to know some class members as well as members of the Alumnae Association staff has been great fun.

With much support and love from my family, I took the great leap from being employed to self-employed 6 years ago and am quite certain that I'll never go back! Gombos Consulting, LLC provides marketing consulting and associated graphic design and website development services to a group of regional, national and international businesses and organizations. And I love every minute of it!

Ray and I live in Richmond, VA with our two children, Max (born Apr, 2005) and Abby (born Feb, 2007). Though far from friends and family, we like being out of the central VA woods!
