Head Class Agents' Report

I am proud to report that since I last wrote 5 weeks ago, you've raised nearly $10,000 MORE for the Annual Fund. The fiscal year is ending, I hope you've had a chance to contact your classmates. As of today 1992 has raised a total of $43,509 towards our goal of $55,000. Participation is 21 percent, towards a goal of 32 percent. Many people gave last year but chose not to do so this year - I hope you contacted them and reminded them how much we need their support.

Please check the volunteer records and do some analysis to determine whether you can make some last minute appeals.

The '08-'09 fiscal year ended in June, and despite the challenging economy, the Annual Fund closed the fiscal year with $7.6 million, 41% participation. Class of '92 donated $41,223, with 25% participation. An enormous thank you to all of you who donated. It is especially appreciated during a time when so many individuals are tightening finances. And thank you to Class Agents! Hopefully the '09-'10 fiscal year will bring positive economic and financial changes. Right now is a perfect time to consider your gift in preparation for the '09-'10 fiscal year appeals! Give yourself time to budget for it, and plan out the payments on your pledge.

The fiscal year is coming to a close Monday 30 June. I encourage all the class agents and class officers to:

• Give to Mount Holyoke if you have not already
• Make a final surge to encourage your classmates to give.

The personal touch really counts, so give your friends a call THIS WEEK, remind them to give, and take the opportunity to catch up on recent events in your lives. Spread the word that their donation of $10 or $20 is valuable and truly appreciated.

So far our class has raised about $38,000. Really great! Our goal is about $54,000, and the closer we can get, the better. About 135 of our classmates are giving to Mount Holyoke - a participation rate of about 27%. If we can get a total of 150 classmates to give, that is a comfortable margin beyond the participation rate in 2007. WE ONLY NEED 15 more! I hope you can find a few minutes to reach out this week.

Thank You for Your Contributions!

The Class of '92 had a great success last fiscal year, our reunion year. We raised over $54,000 and surpassed by $4,000 the amount that any of the previous four classes raised in their 15th reunion year. We had over 30% participation.

Now we have a challenge - to maintain this exceptional track record. We are into the second quarter of the fiscal year, and since the beginning of July 2007, the Class of '92 has raised almost $11,000 in gifts and pledges for the Annual Fund, with nearly 8 percent participation. Thank you to those who have contributed so far. Can we ramp up participation to 50 percent by the end of June 2008? You are a major factor in ensuring that current and future Mount Holyoke students have the opportunity to learn leadership as we did and to be challenged and nurtured as we were.
